It is inspired by this beautiful Jim Helm dress. Unfortunately, I don't like the front of this dress at all, but the back is glorious! So I am going to try and do a similar back, but change the front. I must also incorporate some practice points for my wedding dress, so I am thinking I will add a pocket hoping not to ruin the line and covered buttons. I can't wait. I need to get a move on too because April is when I would wear the dress and I only have two or three weekends in between now and then that I will be close to a sewing machine.

My First Practice Dress
After much debating I have decided on a design for my first practice dress.
It is inspired by this beautiful Jim Helm dress. Unfortunately, I don't like the front of this dress at all, but the back is glorious!
